Soul Families: Who Makes Us Rise

Meeting a member of your Soul Family could change this entire life, helping you grow or even just offer support during a rough patch! These relationships are dictated prior to incarnating into this life, making them appear in divine timing.

You will automatically feel a connection with these souls, feeling as if you have known them for years but you met them 3 hours ago... but whats crazy is that you HAVE known them for years!!! You'll feel like its deja vu or being with them gives you a sense of being home, or maybe they just GET you. These kinds of people are part of your soul family, so cherish them!

Although most are meant to bring love and light into your life, some are meant to make you uncomfortable in order to push you to your limit. Remember: They are doing this out of LOVE on the soul level, to banish all old and stagnant energy and push you into your purpose and destiny. Meeting these souls help you "check in" with your journey, allowing you to look back and say, "I did that... I conquered that, and I'm proud."

For anyone who knows me, I was a teenager when I first met someone in my soul family and they know exactly who this is. He glowed, and we had an instant connection I still cannot describe to this day. Our relationship was so challenging and after 16 years of grief, I learned that this karmic relationship taught me how to accept things as they were, allowing me to dive deep and figure out my purpose. He gave me such a gift that I will never be able to repay except sending him love and light every so often.

With this, members of your soul family have roles and stick to them though and through. That person you wish would change...? They won't... see the situation from another perspective and learn. Growth is change and learning how to adapt: a huge part of the human experience. All throw us into deep processing, healing, and learning, playing multiple roles within our lives. Below are some of these roles:

The Leader - This role teaches you by example. They are your guide and pave a path for you to shine! They break the mold, showing you what is possible in this life, offering a map to reaching your purpose. Within this role, they do not need to know your personally, for it can be someone you look up to who is in the public eye. If you are committed to your soul's work, you are likely a leader for others. LOVE THAT FOR YOU.

The Teacher - This role is super important, and there are many different ways a teacher can guide and mentor us, keeping us on track. This can be a friend that you can always ask for advice, or it could be a romantic partner that is showing you who you truly are, holding up a mirror, and allowing you to see your shadows or wounds from past karmic issues.

The Catalyst – This soul is one that comes to rattle you and turn your life upside down. They will usually appear over and over again when you are stuck in a situation or ready for a new adventure. They usually appear when we are going down a path that isn’t part of our purpose and we need a wake up call, and we allow them to shake us and have us realize what matters in this life. Most of the time, the catalyst isn’t a life long companion, but they usually suddenly appear shake things up and then move to the side. They allow us to ask ourselves many questions like what we really want and what is important to us. They are very dependable and they help us keep on our course and continue to grow. This relationship isn’t always easy but it’s always for the better.

The Challenger - While a catalyst contributes to our growth, the challenger is who challenges us. They will trigger you, and whatever is being triggered, we have a huge opportunity for growth in that area within our lives. Although you can see this as opportunity, sometimes these connections can be very painful and these are the people, that may cause us to doubt ourselves and make us confused. Again, this kind of relationship helps with our growth, aligning us with our purpose here on earth.

The Healer - These souls come into our lives when we hit rock-bottom. Their presence gives us strength when we need it most and allows us to transform. Their energy activates us with their unconditional love, allowing us to feel safe and protected no matter where we are or what we’ve been through. They are our lighthouse when we are out at sea, guiding us, and navigating us into our true potential.

The Companion - This role is a lifelong relationship, or at least a long-term one, seeing each other on a soul to soul level. Within this relationship, you’ll feel deeply loved for who you are, and you will know that this person will always be there for you, making you secure and stable. many people say that their companion in life is their “rock,” always being there through the good Times and the bad. These people you cannot talk to for years but you can pick up right where you left off. These are usually your best friends and sometimes even your lifetime partner.

The Soul Growth Partner - This role is different than companion because they escalate and allow you to connect to the spiritual realm. You are awakening at the same time and go through many levels of your spiritual track together. They know you better than anyone else, and keep reminding you of who you are, and what you can accomplish.
